Clive Marsh has extensive UK and international experience of business development with the world’s leading management consultancies and professional service providers. This experience has enabled him to observe a variety of business development practices and to note the differences between those that are successful and those that are not. As a director and senior manager Clive has had responsibility for the growth and survival of many firms through new business acquisition and has learnt from hard experience what works.
Positions held by Clive include Business Development Director for the UK’s fastest growing marketing and communications agency, Business Development Manager for a MCA (Management Consultancies Association) award winning consultancy and senior business sales and relationship management roles with leading professional services and consultancy firms. Clive has also held the position of Manager of Sales South East England for a UK Clearing Bank and similar positions overseas
There are very few major companies that Clive has not undertaken business with or presented to during his career and he is well known to the executives and management teams of many of these companies for identifying areas of real value. He has also developed substantial business within the SME (Small and Medium Size Enterprise) market and, in all, has developed business that is measured in billions of pounds.
Clive has a consummate understanding of business and has helped many individuals start up new businesses through the provision of courses with several Education Authorities.
His education includes a Masters Degree in Strategic Financial Management from Kingston University Business School, Fellowship of the Chartered Management Institute, Fellowship of the Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance, the Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Graduation from the IBM Sales School.
